Semi-automatic rifles having a detachable magazine and one or more of the following: folding stock, telescoping stock, thumbhole stock, pistol grip, forward pistol grip, second handgrip, threaded barrel, flash suppressor, barrel shroud or handguard
Semi-automatic shotguns having two or more of the following: folding or telescoping stock, thumbhole stock, pistol grip, forward pistol grip, secondhand grip, or detachable magazine
Any firearm listed in the general laws as being banned, including any frame or receiver of such model
All handguns must appear on Massachusetts’ Approved Firearms Roster, Olympic Competition Firearms Roster, or Formal Target Shooting Roster unless being purchased by one of the following:

Semi-automatic rifles having a fixed or revolving magazine with capacity greater than 10 rounds
Any rifle or shotgun equipped with a bump stock
Semi-automatic handguns having a detachable magazine and two or more of the following: ability to accept magazine outside of pistol grip, barrel shroud, handguard, threaded barrel, weight of 50 oz or more when unloaded, or is a semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm
Semi-automatic shotguns having two or more of the following: telescoping stock, fixed magazine with capacity greater than 5 rounds, or detachable magazine
Semi-automatic shotguns with one or more of the following: pistol grip, folding stock, magazine capacity greater than 6 rounds
Connecticut
Ammo
All ammunition must ship to an FFL holder OR the purchaser may provide one of the following:
Permit to carry a pistol or revolver
Permit to sell at retail a pistol or revolver
An eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver
A long gun eligibility certificate
An ammunition certificate AND motor vehicle operator’s license, passport, or other valid government-issued identification showing date of birth and photograph
Proof of status as an active-duty police officer
Proof of status as an active-duty military member
Law Enforcement departments or agencies must provide purchase order on department/agency letterhead
Military departments or agencies must provide purchase order on department/agency letterhead

.50 BMG ammunition will only be sold to law enforcement and military members.
Firearms
Certain semi-automatic handguns, semi-automatic centerfire rifles, and shotguns considered to be “assault weapons” will only be shipped if purchased by Law Enforcement/Military departments/agencies or manufacturing FFLs.
Connecticut-defined assault weapons include but may not be limited to:
Semi-automatic, centerfire rifles having a detachable magazine, and one or more of the following: flare or grenade launcher, flash suppressor, folding stock, forward pistol grip, second handgrip, pistol grip, telescoping stock, or thumbhole stock
Semi-automatic, centerfire rifles having a fixed magazine with capacity greater than 10 rounds
Semi-automatic, centerfire rifles having an overall length less than 30 inches
Semi-automatic handguns having a detachable magazine, barrel length less than 12 inches and one or more of the following: ability to accept magazine outside of pistol grip, barrel shroud, forward pistol grip, handguard, second handgrip, or threaded barrel
Semi-automatic handguns having a fixed magazine with capacity greater than 10 rounds
Semi-automatic shotguns having a folding or telescoping stock and one or more of the following: pistol grip or thumbhole stock
Semi-automatic shotguns that accept a detachable magazine

Military departments or agencies must provide purchase order on department/agency letterhead
FFL holder must provide a copy of their FFL
If the purchaser holds an FFL or Ammunition Vendor License, they may provide it in lieu of Identification Documents. The products will only ship to the address listed on the FFL or Ammunition Vendor License.
Illinois
Ammo
All ammunition must ship to an FFL holder OR the purchaser may provide one of the following:
FOID and IL driver’s license (order may only ship to an address listed on one of these)
Concealed Carry license AND IL driver’s license/ID
Law Enforcement departments or agencies must provide purchase order on department/agency letterhead
Military departments or agencies must provide purchase order on department/agency letterhead
FFL holder must provide copy of their FFL
Armor piercing ammunition will only be sold to Law Enforcement or Military departments/agencies.
